iBridge, LLC (“iBridge,” “we,” “us”) provides a broad range of support services to our business customers, including digital transformation, technology, consulting and assessment, and legal support and certain software-as-a-service products.
When you visit our Websites (ibridgellc.com, metoliusaa.com, or any other site operated by iBridge LLC and/or its affiliates) or use our software-as-a-service application, Metolius™ (“the App”), you share your personal information with us in various ways. We also may collect personal information directly from you in person, via email, or through postal mail. Sometimes we collect it directly from you, and other times we collect it from our business customers or through technology that automatically collects personal information.
This policy applies to our Website, App, and any sites or products that display these terms (collectively, the “Platform”). It does not apply to any website, mobile app, service, or product that does not display or link to this Privacy Notice or that has its own privacy policy. It also applies to any “offline” collection of your personal information. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Platform. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to this Notice.
We may collect personal information from you directly or indirectly. For example, when you fill out a form on our Website, you provide personal information directly to us. We may also collect information automatically as you use the App. Another example of indirect data collection is our use of “cookies” on our Website and App. We also may collect personal information when you use third parties, such as social media platforms.
When using our Platform, you may provide certain kinds of personal information directly by interacting with iBridge online or offline (via social media, by phone, email, in person, or through postal mail).
When you register for a 30-day trial account on the Website, you must provide personal information that includes your name, phone number, and email address. You will be provided a username and password and can update your password at any time. This information helps us confirm your identity on subsequent visits and makes it easier for you to try our App. Your access to a trial account will be deactivated after 30 days.
We may receive your personal information from our business customer as part of the delivery of our services, including conducting surveys on behalf of our business customer.
We may collect personal information about you from third parties, such as online social networks, if you take part in a forum or follow us on Facebook or Instagram. We may collect personal information when you click “Share This” or “Like” buttons or otherwise use social media buttons or plug-ins, or refer to us using hashtags like #ibridge. Note that any personal information collected by a third party, such as a social networking site, is handled based on that party’s privacy practices rather than this Notice.
We may use anonymized data from within our Platform to create aggregated data sets and share these with third parties. These data sets will never include identifying information like your name, email address, or phone number.
Personal information is sometimes collected by automated technologies and shared with us when Website visitors and App users navigate through our products and services. We may track your browsing actions and log your IP address. We may also collect device ID (typically a phone or tablet) to ensure the Website or App is readable on your device.
Automated collection technologies — such as cookies, beacons, tags, and scripts — are used by us to analyze trends, administer the Platform, and track users’ movements around the Platform. We, and our third-party partners, also use these technologies to gather demographic information about our user base, both individually and in the aggregate.
A “cookie” is a small text file that is stored on an individual’s computer and downloaded to the computer or mobile device when he or she visits a website. Cookies then send information back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognizes that same cookie.
The Websites may contain links to other sites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.
We will never knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 16 years. All services we offer are for individuals 16 or older. If we become aware that personal information of anyone younger than 16 has been provided to us, for any purpose, we will delete the information from our files.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” privacy preference. Generally, when a user turns on the Do Not Track signal, their browser sends a message to websites requesting that the user not be tracked. Our Website and services currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.
We use personal information to deliver our Website and provide products and services to our business customers to support digital transformation and business efficiencies. We know your personal information is important to you, so we want to be transparent about how we use it. Here are the ways iBridge uses your personal information:
We value your privacy and are committed to ensuring that your personal information is handled with the utmost care and respect. iBridge, LLC does not share, sell, or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. We will not share your personal data unless required by law or as stated in this Privacy Notice.
Your personal information will only be shared in the following circumstances:
At iBridge, we strive to ensure that your personal data remains protected and confidential. Any sharing of your personal information will be conducted in compliance with applicable laws and this Privacy Notice.
Once your personal information is collected, as detailed above, we may share it with third parties for various reasons. When we share your personal information with a third party, we require that party to protect your information consistent with this Notice and to limit its use to performing the services it provides to us.
Where you are responding to a survey through our App, we will share your personal information in accordance with our agreement with our business customer.
Where a business customer elects to make payment by credit card, we will collect and process that data, including the credit card number, expiration date, and billing address. Our customers can elect to either provide our finance team with payment details that are manually entered into a virtual terminal to process payment, or they can pay directly through a link in their invoice. No card data is stored or otherwise retained by iBridge following confirmation of payment. Payments processed using the direct link in an invoice are processed in accordance with the terms of your account with that payment processor, and we do not receive any payment information from that processor other than confirmation of payment made, date, and payment amount.
iBridge uses Google Analytics to study how users interact with our Website.
We want to hear how we’re doing. If you have suggestions for improving our services, we want those too. If you submit feedback to us relating to our services on our Website, App, or social media channels, we may publicly share or use this information as set out in our Terms of Use.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or other sale of all or a portion of our assets, any user information owned or controlled by us may be among the assets transferred to third parties as successors in interest. As part of this type of transaction, we reserve the right to transfer or assign your personal information to third parties. Other than to the extent ordered by a bankruptcy or other court, or as otherwise agreed to by you, the use and disclosure of all transferred user information will be subject to this Notice.
We may disclose your information to government authorities or other third parties under lawful circumstances, including when:
We have implemented industry-accepted administrative, physical, and technology-based security measures to protect against loss, misuse, and alteration of personal information in our systems. We require that any employee, contractor, or vendor who has access to personal information in our systems be subject to contractual and professional obligations to safeguard that personal information.
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or form of electronic storage is 100 percent secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser or looking for “https” at the beginning of the web page address.
If you feel that we are not abiding by this privacy policy, please contact us immediately via any of the methods indicated in the Contact Us section below.
We understand you want to protect and control your personal information. This section details how you may review, update, or delete your information.
If you would like to update your name and contact information, please email us at privacy@ibridgellc.com with “Update Contact Details” in the subject line and include the relevant updates you would like us to make. App users should log into the App to update their name and contact information.
You may request deactivation of your App account by contacting your employer, who is our business customer. Upon receiving a request from our business customer, iBridge will follow that customer’s instructions to deactivate your account and delete personal information where required by applicable law. If you created a free 30-day trial account, that account will be deactivated at the end of the 30-day period.
If you do not wish to receive promotional e-mails from us, you may follow the unsubscribe process at the bottom of the promotional e-mail you received, or email us at privacy@ibridgellc.com. Please keep in mind that you may still receive transactional and service-related e-mails from us, such as e-mails related to the servicing of the business customer account to which you are related, responses to customer service questions, reminder e-mails you have requested, and other communications essential to your transactions on the Platform.
Individuals residing in the European Economic Area (EEA), including Switzerland and the United Kingdom (UK), have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act, and/or the ePrivacy Directive, as applicable. This section details those additional rights and how to exercise them:
You have the right to submit a complaint to a data protection authority about our collection and use of your personal information. For more information, please contact your local data protection authority.
iBridge is headquartered in the United States. Your personal information may be transferred to, processed, and maintained in places other than where you live.
The United States currently is not a country the European Union has deemed “adequate” under applicable data protection laws. iBridge collects, transfers, and processes personal information as required by applicable law, including: when you provide your consent, to perform a contract with you (such as to deliver products or services), or to fulfill a compelling legitimate interest of iBridge in a manner that does not outweigh your rights and freedoms. iBridge may enter into data protection agreements or other legally approved mechanisms with its suppliers to support compliance with applicable law.
We have taken appropriate safeguards to require that the personal information we process remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy when transferred internationally, including when processed internationally by third-party service providers and partners. These safeguards include implementing the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or relying on a third-party service provider’s Binding Corporate Rules or other legally approved mechanism, for any transfer of personal information to non-EEA third-party service providers or business partners.
iBridge previously certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield frameworks (the “Frameworks”). However, both Frameworks were invalidated in 2020: the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield framework on July 16, 2020, and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield framework on September 8, 2020. Prior to invalidation, iBridge certified its compliance with the Frameworks, and, as required by the Frameworks, any personal information we received under them will be maintained in accordance with the applicable Privacy Shield principles. Any data received by iBridge following invalidation will be transferred and processed in accordance with the applicable Standard Contractual Clauses.
More information about the Privacy Shield and Standard Contractual Clauses can be found through the applicable regulatory authorities.
Those who reside in the state of California have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. While iBridge is not currently subject to the CCPA, we recognize that many of our customers may be required to comply with the law, and we will provide support to our customers in accordance with our agreements and applicable law. For survey takers and licensed users of our App, please direct any requests associated with the CCPA to the business customer that initiated the survey you participated in.
We are required by law to verify that any request submitted was made by someone with the legal right to access the information. Before accessing or divulging any information related to a data access request, we may request additional information to verify your identity and legal authority, or require an additional step, such as logging into your account or completing email verification.
To make a request, please contact us at privacy@ibridgellc.com with “Personal Information Request” in the subject line and provide full details about your request, including your contact information and anything you believe is relevant. We will respond to an access request within the timeframes required by law. If we cannot substantively respond in a timely manner, we will notify you and provide the reason for the delay.
Under certain circumstances, we may not be able to fulfill your request — for example, where doing so would interfere with our regulatory or legal obligations, where we cannot verify your identity, or where your request involves disproportionate cost or effort. We will respond to your request within a reasonable time, as required by law, and provide an explanation.
This Privacy Notice will be updated to reflect our personal information handling practices. We reserve the right to amend this Notice at any time, for any reason, without additional notice to you, other than by posting the updated Privacy Notice on this Platform. We invite you to periodically return to this page to stay informed of updates about how we collect, use, and protect customer information. You can see when this Privacy Notice was last updated by checking the “last updated” date displayed at the beginning of this Notice.
