Job Duties and Responsibilities
Position: Technical Research Associate – multiple openings
Type: Contract
Duration: 6 to 12 months
Job Location: U.S. West Coast at Client Site
The job requires occasional travel around the United States, especially to New York and California.
Job Description:
- Works with top litigators and experts to build and support the technical theory through the lifecycle of an ongoing technical litigation, including through its jury trial.
- Reviews technical documents, source code, and other relevant artifacts to establish patent infringement/non-infringement, patent validity/invalidity, trade secret violation, etc.
- Works with a global team to execute an engagement and ensure seamless delivery to the client.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience: 0 to 3 years
- Education: Strong academic background with a major in EE/Computer Science, or experience/interest in software programming
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work independently as well as with teams
