Job Description

This position requires what we believe is a unique approach to selling eDiscovery by placing an emphasis on budget appropriate solutions for corporate legal departments and AmLaw 100 firms. Though the emphasis is on selling eDiscovery solutions, we offer our clients managed document review and document coding services. We believe the combination of these three lines of business create an incredible value proposition for our clients and prospects.

Due to the nature of this role, prior experience in e-discovery, legal sales, or litigation support services is required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Achieve monthly and annual revenue quotas
  • Make regular sales calls to develop relationships and to follow-up on leads
  • Close opportunities and finalize contracts
  • Negotiate contract terms, including pricing, in conjunction with management
  • Establish and cultivate long-term client relationships to ensure client loyalty
  • Develop and deliver sales proposals and responses to RFP’s for iGS products and services
  • Complete sales orders and other documents to ensure accurate and timely processing of sales
  • Record and manage all sales activity using Salesforce.com
  • Forecast sales and monitor market trends
  • Engage in industry networking events to further develop market knowledge and develop business relationships
  • Assist with gathering market intelligence on competitors and prospects
  • Able to articulate iGS value proposition and differentiators

Client Management 

  • Field customer complaints and work with internal team to resolve
  • Coordinate with internal team to enhance customer service quality
  • Follow-up with customers regarding satisfaction with deliverables
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate with appropriate team members

Major Challenge

  • Ensure new project pipeline is always full
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of all iGS products and services
  • Operate effectively and efficiently in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Interface with clients, project managers, business unit directors and executive management
  • Constantly monitors status of every prospect, lead and project

Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on business management, sales or information technology, or other closely related field
  • 5+ years proven sales success in legal or litigation support field with an emphasis on the higher value products and services in the EDRM model
  • Subject matter knowledge of the litigation support industry including forensics and data collection, ESI processing, and managed review
  • Tier 1 service provider experience and/or annual individual sales revenue of $1.2M+
  • Proven sales track record documenting over achievement
  • Working knowledge CRM systems and MS Office Suite of products
  • Certifications in common industry tools preferred
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check and pre-employment drug screening
  • Must be willing to provide last 2 years of W2’s to support earnings
